Adult Program

The Adult Program helps eligible unemployed adults from low-income families and under-employed adults who have not achieved self-sufficiency connect with training services, career counseling, case management, and employment and support services to meet their workforce needs.

Dislocated Worker

The Dislocated Worker Program helps workers who have been recently laid off from their previous job and provides a series of intensive career counseling and preparation services to get them ready for their next position as quickly as possible through programs that provide on-the-job training and upskilling or reskilling opportunities.

Youth Program

The Youth Program helps youth between the ages of 14 and 21 years old find education and employment opportunities by enrolling them in tutoring, occupational training, basic skills preparation courses, internships, and job shadowing services.

American Job Center of Hawaii (AJCH)

The American Job Center Hawaii (AJCH) is a one-stop center that provides free federally-funded employment resources and training services to job seekers and employers within the Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth WIOA Programs. The AJCH is operated by the City and County of Honolulu and overseen by the Oahu Workforce Development Board (OWDB).
